Saudi Arabia, the world’s largest oil exporter, Monday increased the prices it charges for its oil in the Far East, its biggest market, the first time in five months that it has raised Asian prices. State-owned company Saudi Aramco has increased its official light crude prices for December delivery to the Far East by 95 cents a barrel compared with November, it said in a release. Last month, a cut to Saudi selling prices for Asia pushed oil markets sharply lower as markets took it as a sign the Saudis were keener to protect market share than to keep oil prices high.
