Normalcy has returned to most filling stations in Abuja as the long fuel queues that characterized them in the past months have eased. But the scarcity of petrol is still being felt in states including Lagos, Kaduna, Kogi and those in the South East where motorists continue to face untold hardship in their quest to buy the product which is sold above the regulated price. Findings showed that the queues around Conoil and Total retail stations opposite the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) towers, which used to stretch miles, have vanished. The manager of the Total outlet, Francis Inalegwu told our reporter that while the station has maintained 24 hour service, it has continued to receive the required quantity of products. “I have received one truck today, there is no market.
