Houston — While policies that promote the use of natural gas and renewables in power generation are important to reducing global carbon emissions, it will take a collective change in behavior to reverse the effects of climate change, India Prime Minister Narendra Modi said March 5. During an address on the final day of the annual CERAWeek by IHS Markit energy conference, Modi reiterated his country’s goal to boost the share of gas in its fuel mix to 15% from the current 6% by 2030.
