Gas futures prices, which started the week at the highest levels in nearly four months on forecasts for below-normal temperatures in the second half of October, continue to decline on moderating outlooks. Forecasters said Friday that temperatures in the Midwest–which has the highest concentration of homes heated primarily by gas–won’t be as cold as previously expected at the end of October.
