Natural gas prices have given back nearly two days of gains Friday in a strong response to slightly warmer weather forecasts. Natural gas for December delivery fell 14.6 cents, or 3.3%, to $4.343 a million British thermal units on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Losses had been as much as 4% Friday. Natural gas prices have had one-day losses larger than 4% only twice in four months. Weather forecasts have pulled back from predictions for a fiercely cold start to December. While the change hasn’t been dramatic, small changes can make a big difference, said Kyle Cooper, managing director of research at IAF Advisors, a Houston consulting firm.
