Growth in Gazprom’s gas sales to its core foreign markets of Europe and Turkey seems to stalled over the past two months after a big surge in supplies in the first quarter of the year. Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller on Thursday gave a new update on the status of the company’s sales in what it calls the ‘Far Abroad’ — Europe and Turkey, but not the former Soviet Union — so far in 2016. “To sum up, supplies grew by 10 Bcm or 16.2% in January-May, compared with the same period a year ago,” Miller said in a brief statement.
