After encountering opposition earlier this year, Noble Energy Inc.’s proposed development plan for the Leviathan field offshore Israel has received approval from the Petroleum Commissioner in Israel’s Ministry of National Infrastructure. The company plans to install a subsea system that connects production wells to a fixed platform located offshore, with the tie-in onshore in the northern Israel.
