Exxon Mobil Corp said on Tuesday it continues to work to reopen its 560,500-barrel-per-day Baytown, Texas, refinery and has made “significant progress” in restarting its chemical facilities after Hurricane Harvey pushed some operations offline. The company said its fuel terminals in the Houston region are open and supplying gasoline. Offshore U.S. of Gulf of Mexico operations are beginning to return to normal operations. Exxon’s 362,300 bpd Beaumont refinery is still offline due to flooding.
