Oil prices rose more than 1 percent on Friday as OPEC struggled to agree on a deal to increase output to compensate for losses in production at a time of rising global demand. Benchmark Brent crude LCOc1 was up 75 cents a barrel at $73.80 by 0800 GMT. U.S. light crude CLc1 was 60 cents higher at $66.14. The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries is meeting in Vienna together with non-OPEC oil producers to discuss output policy.
