Iraqi crude sales in January hit their second-highest monthly average ever, as the federal government and autonomous Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) combined for 4.081 million barrels per day (bpd), according an Iraq Oil Report analysis based on federal Oil Ministry statements and data from industry and field officials. Nationwide crude sales declined by 78,000 barrels per day (bpd) compared to a record-setting December, but overall revenues rose along with global oil prices.
