ExxonMobil Corp.’s subsidiary XTO Energy, Inc. has entered into a long-term gas gathering and processing agreement with private midstream company Outrigger Energy II under which Outrigger will build a cryogenic processing plant and gathering system in the Williston Basin. The gathering system will include a 70-mile, 20- and 24-inch diameter gas pipeline starting in eastern Williams County, North Dakota and end at a new 250MMcfd cryogenic gas processing plant west of Williston, North Dakota. There are also plans for a plant expansion of an additional 200MMcfd. “Routing of the gathering line will provide other Williston Basin operators access to much needed gathering and cryogenic processing capacity.
