Iran held constructive talks with the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and will fulfill its commitments under the 2015 nuclear deal, but will not accept any additional demands beyond those pledges, the Islamic Republic said during a visit of IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi in Tehran. Grossi – who is on a visit to Iran to address months-long standoff in which Iran wasn’t allowing IAEA inspectors to two sites suspected of having hosted nuclear activity in the past – said that he met on Tuesday with Iran’s Vice-President and Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Ali Akbar Salehi. “We are working on reaching an agreement on IAEA’s safeguards verification activities in Iran,” Grossi tweeted today.
