Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said he expects all U.N. countries to fully comply with Washington’s declaration that “snapback” sanctions from the 2015 nuclear agreement are in effect despite the U.S. withdrawal from the deal. Iran’s currency nosedived to an all-time low Sunday as the United States claimed it was ready to enforce all international sanctions against the country, while most of the world brushed off the U.S. move and acted as if nothing had changed.
