After ravaging Central America with disastrous rains, Tropical Depression Eta is primed to redevelop into a tropical storm and head toward South Florida and the Gulf of Mexico in the days ahead. The reinvigorated storm is forecast to produce heavy rain and flooding. The storm, which roared ashore in Nicaragua on Tuesday as a Category 4 hurricane, unleashed devastating flooding and mudslides in Central America.
