Iraq exported 3.719 million barrels per day (bpd) in February,* up from January exports of 3.619 million bpd, with revenues reaching a new 10-year high as global oil prices rose to their highest level since 2014. Exports from Basra Gulf terminals accounted for nearly all the increase in sales, according to Oil Ministry figures, as federal pipeline exports from Kirkuk to the Turkish port of Ceyhan shrank to just 53,000 bpd, about half of normal throughputs. Independent oil sales from the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) dipped slightly month-on-month to 405,000 bpd, according to an industry official.
