European natural gas fluctuated as traders weigh an outlook for milder weather and strong LNG shipments against the risk of a supply disruptions from Russia. Higher-than-usual temperatures are expected across most of western Europe next week, according to forecaster Maxar. The region has also imported huge amounts of liquefied natural gas on the back of muted consumption in Asia. The continent’s LNG terminals are filling up and some are operating above their planned capacity, according to Arno Bux, chief commercial officer for Belgium-based gas-infrastructure company Fluxys.
