An Overview At this point in time, probably all American adults are aware that the price of oil, or at least gasoline and diesel fuel, are much higher than they have been in recent years. Human nature being what it is, it’s necessary to find a scapegoat for the high prices. From the conservative point of view, it’s obviously the president, a Democrat, who is the cause of the high prices.
